The Three Blue Gates
What we call in Turkey a 'nazar' is called an 'evil eye' in the western world. We have no clue who came up with the evil eye but surely the evil eye has no meaning close to 'nazar'
Originally this is our interpretation of 'nazar', a Turkish and Middles Eastern amulet. Yet we never liked the term the 'evil eye,' so instead of calling he the evil eye we used the name 'gates'. A true classic gourd lamp and an essential piece for every single home.
Eastern Mediterranean and some middle Eastern crafts are traditionally about colors, more colors and even more colors and that's why we couldn't associate this color combination with anything else. Well, here is the Moroccan Breeze goourd lamp bu rising Star Handmade. I don't know about the breeze but colors are warrantied.
